I’m thrilled to share our debut on an international podcast, discussing the nuances of navigating separation and co-parenting with three wonderful hosts in Texas. I had a lot to say (who knew?!), so they generously split the interview into two whole episodes.

We crammed in as much goodness as possible, starting with the pivotal decision to separate for the wellbeing of the family, the biggest challenges when transitioning to a two-home life, and the dynamics when a parent re-partners. The conversation is filled with practical advice, tips, and compassionate wisdom (if I do say so myself) for separating and separated parents.

Have a listen to hear us talk about:

  • The Origin Story of Co-Parenting Companion and what fuels our passion and commitment to service for this community.
  • The importance of Early Intervention for separating parents.
  • Separation as a courageous act of love, not failure.
  • The most common barriers and challenges for separated parents.
  • The impact of new partners, and how to navigate this with your co-parent to mitigate risks and maximise positive outcomes (17 minutes in).
  • What it means (and doesn't) when children tell information to one parent and not the other.

Want to help your kids feel safe and supported after separation? I created a free guide to walk you through the first eight weeks. Grab your copy here.
